The Lizard Cornwall England's most Southerly Point

Beautiful coastline and the including Kynance Cove, the Lizard Lighthouse on the Lizard Point, the most southerly point in Britain, the small cove of Cadgwith and pretty Landewednack Church Cove are all within walking distance. See the area

Lizard Point

This delightful area is a haven for walkers, botanists, bird watchers or those who just want to escape from the pressures of everyday life.

Take the A3083 from Helston signed "The Lizard". You go past RNAS Culdrose and continue for a further 8 miles. On reaching the village there is a green on the right-hand side where free car parking is allowed. In front of you is the village newsagents and general stores. Best to park in the town as the roads get narrow and to walk to the sea, though one can drive to the Lighthouse or VERY!!! limited parking on the Lizard Point, With very few passing places, (cars only). But its only a few yards from the Lighthouse, its so much easier from there, or enjoy the lanes with their paths to both from the Lizard Village.

Enjoy the delights of a traditional Cornish summer holiday on the beaches, or an out of season break, when you can walk, explore hidden coves, play sport or just relax.
